How I clean airbrush nozzles--by Will Kuhrt

ave several airbrushes but one of my favorites is the old Iawata Eclipse HP-CS.  The airbrush features a fine needle that allows for precision painting, but occasionally, the tip's nozzle needs to be cleaned. Due to its tiny size, cleaning can be difficult. One day, I had the idea of threading it with coarse string. It worked like a charm. As I pull the string through, I churn it. Sometimes, I can soak the string with solvent to really remove paint, but usually, passing this through a few times is all that is needed!
