Mark saves a wing

FullSizeR002.jpg

In modeling, disasters happen. Mark Snowden had been working hard on his plane. After his paint job was finished, he began to clearcoat. Apparently, after finishing the left wing, the can was empty so he picked up another--same brand--when all over the sudden the paint began to fracture. For whatever reason, this particular can had more solvent in it--or so it would seem.

Undeterred and unwilling to throw in the towel,  Mark turned to sanding down the damaged with using progressively finer grain sandpaper. Naturally, this also meant the decal would be destroyed. But Mark, with he fresh surface, repainted the wing with is rattle can green paint, and he even created a perfect mask and painted a new big red dot!

Way to go Mark!  Great job saving a wing!
