The Cincinnati Scale Modelers (CSM) are a group of hobbyists who build scale models. Our members build scale model ships, planes, armor, autos, spaceships (real and imagined), figures, and dioramas. Founded in 1995, CSM is a charter club of IPMS/USA (International Plastic Modeling Society), a 5,000-member organization which champions many model building contests at the local, regional, and national level.

The CSM meets the first Sunday of each month, when possible, and in a two-hour session we show our recent model builds, share resources and stories, and have a good time, plus have a brief business meeting. We also sponsor a local contest each Fall, where you can enter your models into a judged contest, buy kits, tools, and supplies from many vendors, enter a raffle, and see a huge model display crafted by fellow builders.
